1955 Chevy Nomad Advertisement

1955 Was the first year for the Chevy Nomad. Prior to 1955 Chevy had a Nomad Show Car based on the Corvette by 1955 Corvette was already in danger of being dropped from Chevrolets line up which I'm sure played in the decision in producing the Nomad as a full size car. The Nomad would be built as a two door for three years then a four door for several years after that.
