55 Chevy Post

Not much to say about the old Post. Dock seemed to buy these rust buckets, and the Post was no exception, well the roof wasn't rotted through in this Chevy like it was in the Nomad, and the frame is quite impressive. The Big Block Olds, in her day I'm sure it was something. Dock had pulled the Olds for a 454 Crate Engine, but all were sold separately of the Post. The pile of new parts for the Post is about all that is redeemable otherwise. Here the first patch panel is in place, new floor boards, quarters, and such will all follow. Steel wise she will be almost a new car when finished, and a nice buy for somebody; a nice solid foundation to build someone's Hot Rod from.
 
As trades go, indeed all this work for the Nomad, not a good trade at all, but to help a Widow who is indeed a good lady, it is worth it. The Nomad may not have had much value, but she is still a Nomad no matter how badly rusted she was / is.
