Jeep has the time honored reputation as a toy to pick up women. Although originally designed for war by Bantam in 1940, the Jeep has become a quite popular civilian all-terrain vehicle. By 1941 the Military awarded the Jeep contract to Willys and Bantam began the long line of Auto Makers whom the Jeep has outlived. Willys and Ford both produced the Jeep throughout the Second World War, but only Willys continued on after the war, producing the Jeep untill 1962. Kaiser then built the Jeep for about a decade when AMC bought them in 1970. AMC then continued to build the Jeep untill Chrysler took it over in the 1990's.
 
So where did Jeep gain it's sex-appeal; maybe for it's milestones in hill climbing competitions? Girls do turn out at Hill Climbs, although are they there for the Jeeps or the guys, well one thing is for sure, us guys will never figure it out, so we buy Jeeps. The Jeeps Sex-Appeal though can probably be accredited to AMC's days with the Jeep, as they softened her corners and began an extensive campaign advertising their new Jeep with Sexy Girls.
